Tamil Brahmin’s had originally settled themselves around the river banks of Kaveri, migrated to southern tip of India, due to political unrest from 10th Century onwards. The massive exodus took place during the 16th century from Shenkottai to Palakkad, Trivandrum, Kochi, Parur, Alleppey etc. In the later part of 19th century, the English education to the Tamil Brahmins’ were a sort of discovery and our community used the best of it to soon become Academicians, Administra¬tors, Lawyers, Doctors, Engineers, Accountants etc.
Our vision is to cultivate a cohesive Brahmin community committed to the holistic welfare of all its members. We aim to safeguard our invaluable cultural heritage, including the Vedas and Vedic traditions. Upholding the timeless practices of Aacharas and Anushrannas, deeply rooted in our community's history, we strive to contribute positively to global well-being. Guided by our motto, "Lokaha samastah sukhino bhavanthu," we aspire to foster prosperity and comfort for all inhabitants of the world.
Our objective is to initiate programs aimed at nurturing unity within our community while fostering a collaborative spirit for mutual benefit. This encompasses the establishment of educational institutions and healthcare facilities, including hospitals, alongside the promotion of entrepreneurship and the development of common marketing strategies. We aspire to create a dedicated institute for studying Vedas and Ithihasaas comprehensively, integrating their teachings into practical application. Additionally, we aim to establish an autonomous Vedic university to empower our community to assertively safeguard our rights. Our efforts are guided by the overarching goal of advancing the well-being of all, fostering universal brotherhood, and advocating for co-existence grounded in mutual respect, inclusivity, and acceptance. To ensure sustainability, we endeavor to create enduring institutions capable of addressing the evolving needs of our community.
